AMVCA 2016 nominees to be announced next week.

Organisers of the fourth edition of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) has hinted that all is now set for the official announcement of the 2016 nominees list to give room for the commencement of voting. According to the organizers, come Friday, December 11, 2015, the announcement of the nominees will be aired on all Africa Magic channels.

The 2015 edition of the AMVCAs was held on March 7, 2015, at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria, with IK and Vimbai as hosts.

 Since the maiden edition in 2013, the AMVCA has celebrated the contributions of African filmmakers, actors and technicians to the success of the continent’s film and television industry. The 2015 edition saw Kunle Afolayan dominating the night.

For the 2016 edition, three new categories were added to the already existing AMVCAs categories.
