Movie Review: Pretty woman- When beauty is misused!
The movie, ‘pretty woman’, was produced on September 5, 2015 and directed by Akachukwu Ibe. It has already received a view of 131,301. This highly dramatic movie centers on a pretty young lady, Pascaline (Omotola Jalade Ekeinde). She came from a humble and naïve background, got married and moved to the city with her husband, where she was overwhelmed by the attention men gave to her simply because of her beauty! Her husband, Smart (Emeka Enyiocha), who loved Pascaline so much and due to the love he had for her, brushed her up and equipped her with all she needed to excel in life; he taught her so many things she has never come across before in her life. Pascaline was only a beautiful village girl, but after she got married to her husband, her village life was transformed into a high city girl. Her life was transformed into a whole new level and she started mingling with friends and along the line, her friends started deceiving her by feeding her with wrong information and also introduced her to rich men. Pascaline, now a full city woman, got distracted and she started flirting around with chiefs and so many other men. Her husband, Smart, who couldn’t believe the news he was hearing of his wife was shocked when his friend’ Isaiah’ told him. Smart couldn’t believe him due to the love he has for her. Pascaline ended up betraying the love and trust her husband had for her and she repaid him back with pain, shame and disgrace! She scattered her home and her husband’s trust. Smart had to carry his cross, and this kept him wondering if there was more of Pascaline real identity and behavior he is yet to discover! The movie is good and interesting. I rate it 6\10
